Our Coffee
Outdoor coffee was born
Outdoor coffee has its distinctive taste. It's an exciting mix of medium roasted Arabica from Honduras Marcala for a nice sweetness and tones from chocolate and mild fruit, a fantastic Robusta from Guatemala, for the spicy and juicy taste, and some more heavily roasted Arabica beans from Columbia that give it that special, rough tone, a good body and rust in the aroma.
from forest to forest
We really enjoy living nearby the Tivedens Nationalpark. The moments outdoors provide inspiration and energy. This is where we roast our coffee for you.
1. Lighting the fire
Light a fire and fill the coffee pot with water, preferably directly from a fresh, natural watercourse. Then coarsely grind your coffee beans (or use pre-ground coffee), pour them into the cold water and stir a little.
2. Nearly boiling coffee
Then set the coffee pot on the fire and wait until it starts to bubble. Lift the kettle from the heat before it boils too much. Let the coffee rest and sink for 4-5 minutes. Then pour carefully so that the swamp stays on the bottom.
3. Enjoy your coffemoment
The first splash should always go to the person who has boiled the coffee. A Legend says that you otherwise loose your luck. And we do not want that! Or maybe it's just because you have to take the small swamp that sometimes collects on the surface and comes out first.
